Meet your Photographer
Hey, my name is ALDRY JOEL
Socially, we often describe ourselves by our professions, but I prefer to describe myself by aptitudes. God made me passion, love, service, and empathy. I enjoy analyzing the "why" behind situations and finding purpose in absolutely everything I do.
Photography is simply one of the main ways I use to develop my true life purpose: serving others.
My goal is to pass through your lives, leaving an eternal mark through our work. We don't want to establish a mere transactional relationship; we want to understand your world and, through our eyes, show everyone what we discover there.

THE VALUE OF AN IMAGE over time
Two little kids, dressed as a bride and groom, walking down the aisle at someone else’s wedding , without knowing that, years later, life would bring them together for real.
Today, that little girl is my wife. And this image of us, taken so casually, has become one of the most precious memories we have.
This photo reminds me why I love what I do.
Because the true value of a photograph isn’t in the moment it’s taken, but in what it comes to mean as time passes.
A great image has the power to stop time, to capture something invisible: a connection, a story, a glimpse of destiny.
Photography is not just a memory. It’s an emotional time capsule.
And this one, without a doubt, is one of the most special in our story.

THE BEGINNING
I took my first real steps into the world of photography, studying Lighting and Photography at the Altos de Chavón School of Design in Santo Domingo.
That’s where I first understood that light isn’t just something you see , it’s something you feel. I started looking at the world differently, learning to observe with intention.
It was about emotion, about storytelling, and about capturing something real. That’s when I fell in love with the art of seeing.

FIRST WEDDINGS
That year, I photographed my first weddings, and something inside me changed forever. I realized I wasn’t just capturing a special day. I was creating images that would live on within families for generations. I fell in love with the responsibility of telling real stories, freezing authentic emotions, and building memories with everlasting meaning.

The Influence of Cinema
During these years, I studied Cinematography at the prestigious INTEC University in Santo Domingo, where I graduated with honors. This chapter marked a turning point in my career.
Gaining professional knowledge of the cinematic world completely transformed the way I see photography. I learned the narrative power behind each frame, the importance of visual rhythm, and the art of storytelling with intention. Cinema allowed me to make a significant leap in how I observe, compose, and convey emotion through imagery.

Art as a Way of Life
After 10 years of experience in the world of photography, I’ve reached milestones I never dreamed of when I first started. I became the first Dominican wedding photographer to be published in Vogue LATAM, and our work has also been printed in the pages of exclusive luxury books like Assouline Editorials.
Today, a decade later, I can proudly say that I live from art… and art lives within me. Every wedding, every story, every image I create reflects a deep commitment to beauty, authenticity, and real emotion.
a little more about me
Beyond the lens, I’m someone who truly enjoys life. I believe in the little things , long hugs, meaningful conversations, and the magic hidden in everyday moments.
My wife has been my greatest source of motivation in building everything I am today. From the moment I met her, I saw in her everything I had ever dreamed of: home. She is everything I once wished for… and everything I still want, every single day.
My greatest dream is to one day become father. But until that day comes, when we’re not working, you’ll probably find us watching a movie at home, or maybe on a plane heading to a place we’ve always dreamed of visiting. We live with hope in God, with purpose, and with the deep belief that the most important things in life are love and service.
